Hello! I am a journalist, editor, and humor writer in Rochester, NY. My background includes print and online journalism, copywriting, blog writing/editing, marketing, social media management, ghostwriting, and more. I’m also a big grammar geek.
Within the nonprofit field (and beyond), my career experiences have included marketing, PR, grant management, development, volunteer management, event coordination, library work, retail management/merchandising, and customer service of all sorts.
I currently focus on writing about LGBTQ+ issues, lifestyle topics, and parenting, but I’ve covered a wide variety of subjects in my career, including work life, mental health, animal care and welfare, personal finance, and fashion/beauty. I love writing humor, too … and horrible puns.
